Hal McGee performs three songs by Viscera at Action Research 31 Halloween show

At Action Research show #31, special Halloween show and Haunted House, Hal McGee performed a cappella talk-sing spoken word versions of three songs from Viscera's 1984 cassette album, A Whole Universe Of Horror Movies. Artfully filmed by Christopher Miller on Hi8 videotape. Action Research show #31 was held Friday, October 31, 2008, at George's Meet and Produce, 433 South Main Street, Gainesville, Florida.

Part 1. Presented here below are the first two songs from that performance, "Bones Are Chairs" (words and melody by Hal McGee), and "Juices" (words by Debbie Jaffe, melody by Hal McGee). On the original versions Jaffe played Moog Prodigy synthesizer and clarinet.

Excerpt from Hal McGee's performance on the Moog Etherwave Theremin on the steps of the Hippodrome State Theater in Gainesville, Florida, on Friday, October 17, 2008. Filmed by Christopher Miller. McGee used two Moogerfoogers with the theremin, the MF-102 Ring Modulator and the MF-104Z Analog Delay. Irene Moon, Ironing, Hairmaiden of the Totem Robe, and No Limit Cycle also played at this special event which marked the premiere of the play "The Woman In Black".
