Richard Orlando (Ethereal), formerly of the classic space rock group Alien Planetscapes, performed with Dave Fuglewicz and Hal McGee at the second Tampa Noise Fest, Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Transitions Art Gallery, 4215 East Columbus Drive, Tampa, Florida. This is a mono cassette recording document made by Orlando. Richard Orlando played EMS Synthi A, Yamaha CS-15, Roland JP-8000, Maxxon Analog Delay, Lexicon Alex, Roland M-120 Line Mixer; Dave Fuglewicz - Gateway laptop running Buzz software synthesizer and Lenovo laptop running Sound Forge and Rollosonic software synth; Hal McGee - Little Boy Blue (custom black edition) analog synthesizer, Moog MF-107 FreqBox, Moog MF-102 Ring Modulator, Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi Distortion, Moog MF-101 Low Pass Filter, Alesis Microverb II. Hal McGee performing with the Moog Etherwave Theremin at George's Meet & Produce, 433 South Main Street, Gainesville, Florida, at 10:10 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2008. McGee's improvised performance featured the Etherwave Theremin as processed through the Moog MF-107 FreqBox, MF-102 Ring Modulator, Moog Voyager RME analog synthesizer, and MF-104Z Analog Delay. Special thanks to Christopher Miller for filming me in such an awesome way, to Aaron Zarzutzki for the idea to use my keys, Andrew Chadwick for helping to organize the show, the good folks at the Black Earth Collective Gallery, and the other bands who played that night (Triscults, Rape Revenge Fantasy Camp, Mr. Transylvania, Imagine Your Wife In This, Ironing).

Two members of The Analog Synthesizer Ensemble -- Hal McGee (Moog Etherwave Theremin, Moog MF-107 FreqBox, MF-102 Ring Mod, MF-104 Analog Delay), and Otolathe (Octave Cat analog synthesizer, MF-102, MF-107 and other effects) live at the Saint Petersburg Noise Fest, Saturday, April 20, 2008, Cafe Bohemia, 937 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, Florida. We are joined part-way through the performance by the third member of Rocket Surgery, Christopher Cprek (Pax Titania) who arrived late from Tallahassee - due to automobile trouble. This excerpted recording is taken directly from the sound mixer.
